Nasdaq 100 Index - Nasdaq 100 index is one of the largest non-financial companies listed on the Nasdaq 100 stock exchange. This index is value-weighted. Nasdaq 100 does not contain financial companies. This index is therefore different from the S&P500;and the Dow Jones Industrial Average.

The Dow Indexes - Dow Jones was founded by Charles Henry Dow, Edward Davis Jones and Charles Milford Bergstresser on Wall Street in New York. At that time the company was called Dow, Jones & Company and the company produced and delivered daily news bulletins called to subscribers in the Wall Street area.

Volume Accumulation Oscillator - The VAO (Volume Accumulation Oscillator) was developed by Mark Chaikin and in some cases this technical indicator is called the Chaikin Oscillator. In technical analysis the VAO oscillator is used to show the cumulative volume that is adjusted by the average security price (difference between the close price and the middle point price).
