Nasdaq Indexes - Over the last couple of years the NASDAQ Exchange has lunched a big number of different indices that cover not just NASDAQ market and US economy, but characterize the different markets all over the globe.

Nasdaq Canada Index - Putting into simple words, this is the Nasdaq Stock Exchange extended within Canada. Through the Nasdaq Canada Canadian investors have immediate trading access to all Nasdaq listed stocks which allow to raise capital more efficiently.

The Dow Jones Indexes - Dow Jones was founded by Charles Henry Dow, Edward Davis Jones and Charles Milford Bergstresser on Wall Street in New York. At that time the company was called Dow, Jones & Company and the company produced and delivered daily news bulletins called to subscribers in the Wall Street area.

Nasdaq 100 - Nasdaq 100 index is one of the largest non-financial companies listed on the Nasdaq 100 stock exchange. This index is value-weighted. Nasdaq 100 does not contain financial companies. This index is therefore different from the S&P500 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average.

Russell 2000 - Russell indexes have been developed by the Frank Russell Company and the New York Futures Exchange (NYFE), to measure U.S. market segments and were introduced to the market in1984.

Why Nasdaq 100 - The Nasdaq 100 index is used to generate signals for trading exchange traded funds such as qqq, qld and qid and for nq index emini futeres.

S&p Sector Indexes - Standard & Poors track number of the S&P 500 sub-indexes that cover different industrial sectors and groups and called S&P 500 Select Sector indexes. Each Select Sector index has Select Sector SPDRs fund that tracks its performance. All SPDR funds are Exchange Traded Funds which mean that they have all characteristics of mutual funds and could be traded as stocks.

Toronto Stock Exchange - Toronto Stock Exchange is the oldest and the biggest stock exchange in Canada. The performance of this exchange is tracked by S&P TSX index (Standard & Poors Toronto Stock Exchange Composite Index).

Russell 2000 Trading - The Russell 2000 index measures the performance of the 2,000 smallest companies in the Russell 3000 Index, which represents approximately 8 percent of the total market capitalization of the Russell 3000 Index.

Russell 1000 Trading - The Russell 1000 Index measures the performance of the 1,000 largest companies in the Russell 3000 Index, which represents approximately 92 percent of the total market capitalization of the Russell 3000 Index.

S&P 600 Trading - The S&P Small Cap 600 Index consists of 600 domestic stocks chosen for market size, liquidity, (bid-asked spread, ownership, share turnover and number of no trade days) and industry group representation.

NYSE Trading - The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), the largest equities marketplace in the world, is home to about 1 companies worth more than $17 trillion in global market capitalization.

S&P 500 Trading - The S&P 500 Composite Stock Price Index is a market-value-weighted index (shares outstanding multiplied by stock price) of 500 stocks that are traded on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), American Stock Exchange (AMEX), and the NASDAQ National Market System (NASDAQ).

Nasdaq 100 Trading - The NASDAQ 100 Index includes 100 of the largest domestic and international non-financial companies listed on The NASDAQ Stock Market based on market capitalization.

S&P 400 Trading - The S&P Mid Cap 400 Index consists of 400 domestic stocks chosen for market size, liquidity, and industry group representation.

S&P 100 Trading - Known by its ticker symbol OEX, the S&P 100 is a subset of the S&P 500 and tracks the largest, most liquid stocks which have options contracts traded on them.

DJU Trading - The Dow Jones Utility Average is the youngest of the three Dow Jones Averages, having made its debut in January 1929. According to analysts who study the averages, a rise in utility stock prices indicates investors anticipate falling interest rates.

DJT Trading - The first Dow Jones stock index (DJT), assembled in 1884 by Charles H. Dow, co-founder of Dow Jones & Company, was composed of nine railroads, including the New York Central and Union Pacific, and two non-rails, Pacific Mail Steamship and Western Union. That was the ancestor of today's transportation average.
